Location is wrong. The island marked is the so-called Haixin Shan ("Monutain in the heart of the lake"), while the Bird Island (Chin. niao dao) is located at the tip of the peninsula on the lake's western shore.

A face appears on top of what looks like an ancient large man-made mound structure located in the northeastern area of the Gobi just below Mongolia. The mound stands out as a dark area in a uniform sandy landscape. Not too far to the northeast can be seen what looks like the left profile of a green face with a white eye in a sandy ravine landscape. Has anyone seen these facial images, and what are they?
